Crossroads

The Crossroads of Divorce and Real Estate is NOT Business as usual

The real estate portion of your case deserves an expert, the same as every other aspect of your case. Without a specialized expert

Not because they mean to cause harm, but because they don’t know any other way, non-specialized Realtors apply the traditional processes of real estate in divorce transactions— and that doesn’t work.

How it began

About Collin Baumann

I didn’t plan to specialize in divorce real estate, but early in my career, I saw too many families suffer unnecessary losses—homes sold far below value to investors, equity buyouts overlooked, and foreclosures that could have been avoided. The emotional strain of divorce often led to rushed, costly decisions that damaged both finances and futures. Those experiences changed me. I realized that guiding clients through divorce-related real estate requires more than market knowledge—it takes neutrality, empathy, and a strategic, informed approach.

As a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE®), I’ve dedicated my work to helping divorcing homeowners avoid those pitfalls. I offer clear, neutral guidance that keeps transactions on track, protects equity, and supports both parties through one of life’s most difficult transitions. Divorce is hard enough—my role is to make sure the real estate doesn’t make it harder.
